Amsterdam Light Festival - Water Colors - Illuminade
From 28 November 2019 until 19 January 2020 Amsterdam lights up for the 8e edition of the annual Amsterdam Light Festival. This year the festival dedicated to theme 'Disrupt' for 53 days will transform Amsterdam into a city of light thanks to the help of many international and national light artists. Over 35 artworks form international, artists designers and architects lighting up the city centre of Amsterdam.
The artworks are located alongside two different exhibition routes; Water Colors, the boat route and Illuminade, the walking route. For the boat route, you can buy a ticket at one of the many shipping companies, the walking route is free.

Water Colors, boat route: 28 November 2019 until 19 January 2020. The works of art are illuminated from 17:00 to 23:00 (on New Year’s Eve, when the works will light up Amsterdam until 20:00 o’clock)
